Articulating Carpal with Rigid Metacarpal

Function

• Provides external support to the carpal joint and metacarpal phalanges.
• Free range of motion or a controlled range of motion  carpal joint with articulating support of the paw.
• Preventing the nails, digits and paws from dragging on the ground and creating sores

Fabrication

• Rocker bottom design of the orthotic palmer aspect to facilitate a smooth natural gait cycle.
• Positions the paw and digits in a normal stance position
  
• Veterinary tamarack joint.
• Vacuum formed thermoplastic.
• Lined with a soft foam interface.
• Flared proximal end.
• Velcro padded strapping system for optimal suspension. Controlling migration of the orthosis when the canine is active.
