The Hip Orthotic provides mechanical stability to the hip joints.
Controlling subluxating (partial dislocation) or luxation (dislocation).
Controlled range of motion within the hip joint using mechanical joints.
Allows for increased stability of the hip, allowing for a good stance position giving better leg movement and control while walking.
Fabrication
Mechanical joint.
Vacuum formed thermoplastic.
Lined with orthopedic foam.
Harness strapping system for optimal suspension. Controlling migration of the orthosis when the canine is active.
